Note~: This is a story about Pokémon. Duh. This story is multiple parts. Umm, oh yeah. I'm not gonna get technical with the disclaimers. All I have to say is that the characters of Pokémon are not mine. Except for Torrid and other made-up Pokémon. I have no money and I'm not selling the story so don't sue me. Please do not take my story idea. Thank You. Enjoy ~_~

THE MISSING PIKACHU

By, Mina

We last left our heros (Ash, Misty, and Brock) in the hands of the police. They were being aresseted for Pokémon-napping.

"Listen you got it all wrong Officer Jenny." Misty pleaded. They had been hauled down to Police HQ.
"Yeah." Ash agreed. "This is MY Pikachu. Really. No lie."
"Lets see some ID young man." Jenny held out her hand. Ash handed her his pokédex. With the push of a button Ash's pokédex identified him.
"You see, I was telling the truth."
"Ok I guess you can go." Jenny released him. "What about you two? Where's your ID?" she asked Brock and Misty.
"Well," Brock pulled out a stone badge. "I'm Brock the Pewter City Gym Leader."
"And I'm Misty Gym Leader of the Cerulean Gym." Misty showed one of her cascade badges.
"Ok. I guess that's proof enough." She took the handcuffs off. "Sorry I jumped the gun like that. I've been a little out of touch lately."
"What do you mean?" Ashed asked.
"Pikachu?" said Pikachu.
"There's been reports of kidnapped pokémon coming in from all over town. It's been like this for about a month. The chief said if I don't get to the bottom of this I'll get demoted."
"Gee that's too bad." Ash said. That was when Brock had to open his big mouth. He pushed Ash and Misty aside.
"We'd be happy to help you in any way we can. It's truly a shame that such a beautiful woman is in such a predicament."
"Well....." Jenny dragged. "You could help me catch these thiefs?"
Before Ash and Misty could protest Brock had agreed.

"Great going Brock." Misty snapped.
"Yeah now we have to help find a band of bad guys and we don't know the anything about them."
"Not really Ash."
"Oh really Brock?, So tell me. How are you going to catch these crooks?"
"First, I will go to the scene of the crime."
"But remember," Misty started. "Jenny's already checked there and found nothing." Brock's hope fell as fast as they rose when a pretty girl looked at him.
"Oh gee that's great." Ash said glumly. Then someone ran into him.
"Hey, Heve you seen a Jigglypuff around here?" the kid asked.
"Uh, no not really." Ash said.
"Did you loss it?" Misty asked the child. The boy stared at her.
"No. It was stolen." tears began to form and he sniffed them away.
"Stolen? Are you sure?" Brock asked.
"Yeah. These two really big kids with a talking Meowth came and took it away."
"Did you say the Meowth talked?" Asked asked. The boy nodded his curly brown hair moving slightly.
"That sounds like Team Rocket." Brock said. "Now it all makes sense.
"Nothing they do makes sense." Ash mumbled.
"Can you help me? Please?" The boys eye shown like two emeralds lying in the sun.
"Sure. We'll get it back." Misty said in her soothing voice.
"You will? Really?"
"Yeah." Brock butted in before Ash could add anything on. "And we'll please Officer jenny. She may even give me a kiss." Brock's eyes got all stary and he drifted off into a day dream.
Misty hit him over the head with a large paper fan.
"Don't you care about anything else besides beautiful women??" She hissed.
Ash leaned against a wall with his hands behind his head. Pikachu jumped on his shoulder.
"Pika Pika pikachu pika pika chu." He said.
"What's that Pikachu?" Ash asked. Pikachu hopped down and ran towards the woods. "Hey! Pikachu where're you going." Ash broke in a mad dash to not lose sight of his precious pokémon.
Brock followed close behind. When they found Pikachu, he was pointing to a large bush.
"Uh, what do you got there Pikachu?" Ash asked the electric rodent.
Just then A small creature came leaping out. It had big bright eyes with a blue fire around it. The fire was small and didn't seem to burn anything.
"It looks like a fireball with legs. What is it Ash?" Misty said.
Ash pulled out his pokédex and pointed it at the thing.
"Torrid, a fire pokémon. The size of the blue fire around it shows it's emotions. Large when angry, small when calm. Approach this pokémon with extreme caution. It is known to have a short temper." Dexter explained.
"Wow. I wouldn't mind having that." Ash said.
In one swoop of his jacket he had a pokéball in his hand. He pushed the button and it enlarged to the size of his palm.
"Charmander! I choose you!" he threw the pokéball forward and Charmander popped out.
Torrid looked at Charmander and Charmander stared back.
