"Welcome to the S.S. Anne. Do you have your tickets? Fine, hop aboard. Have a good trip. Today, we are leaving for Saffron City. Enjoy your ride," said the dock guard.
Ozzie, Mewtwo, and their new friend Tori are getting on the luxury liner, the S.S. Anne. They hope to work up their Pokemon in battle, and maybe evolve a few.
"I hear that once every year, Erika, the gym leader, rides on this exact boat. I read somewhere that she likes to ride it every summer, because of its relaxing atmosphere. Maybe we'll get lucky, and she's here right now," Ozzie mentioned to his friends. "I heard that somewhere, too. She's also a great plant-Pokemon trainer, so your Charmander may come in handy," Tori added.
On another area of the ship, two strange figures are sneaking around with their own talking Pokemon, Rattata. The way they sneak around, it makes most of the passengers suspicious. The crew captian takes the two in for questioning, but they escape capture in time for their motto.
"Prepare yourself for trouble,"
"And I suggest you make it doouble,"
"To protect the world from devastation,"
"To unite all people whithin our nation,"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love,"
"To extend our reach to the stars above,"
"Valerie,"
"Gary,"
"Team Rocket, blat off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Rattata, that's right!"
"Attention, passengers, hand over your Pokemon if you value your lives," said Valerie.
"Hey, that's a Mewtwo. We've got to capture it!" cried Gary, "Zubat, go!"
"Water Boy, use Skull-Bash!"
"Zubat, use Supersonic!"
The battle cries went on, until the two Rockets lost. After they fled, a strange woman approached the crowd.
"Wow! You sure know how to handle your Pokemon well. I am Erika, the gym leader. How would you like to battle for the Marsh Badge?"
"I'd love to! Water Boy, use Water Gun!"
"Gloom, use Stun-Spore. Now, Cut."
"Water Boy, use Surf. Huh, what's happening?"
Water Boy fainted, so Ozzie sent out Chandler.
"Use Ember. Now, tackle. All right, Gloom fainted! We win!"
"Here is the Marsh Badge to prove you beat me. Say, we're pulling into the harbor, now. Maybe I'll see you again, Ozzie. Bye!"
"Great job gettin' rid of those Rockets, Ozzie. I hope they earned their lesson the first time around. Well, let's go see about Sabrina and her psychic Pokemon," said Tori,"I can't wait for the next gym. Race ya off the boat."
