Gold and Silver also known as Pokémon 2 will either come out in March or April 2000.

In the Gold version(Pokémon 2) there will be:

250 or more species of Pokémon!
A skateboard to go around on!
Genders male and female!
This is because they can breed and make a PokeEgg!
The PokéEgg will hatch and you will have a new Pokémon!
A new Pokédex!
A whole new world but probably starting in Pallet.
You can trade Pokémon with Red and blue but cannot trade the Pokémon from Pokémon 2 with the Red, Blue, Yellow or Green
Ash looks different!
Pokémon that didn't evolve in the old game will be able to evolve in the new game. Example: Onix can now evolve into a new Pokémon at lvl. 60!
There will be nocturnal and diurnal Pokémon that means some Pokémon will sleep at night and some in the day and you will have to wait for them to wake up to fight with them.
The images in a fight are much better!
There will be more than 200 more ablilities and more than 200 tricks!
Because there will be nocturnal and diurnal Pokémon there will be new objects like a clock or timer!

"CHICOLITA"
A Grass type Pokemon which has a leaf on its head. This is one of the Pokemon that the hero gets to select first. "HINOARASHI"
HI means 'Fire', ARASHI means 'Storm'. A Flame type Pokemon which looks like a hedgehog. This is one of the Pokemon that the hero gets to select first.

"WANINOKO"
WANI means 'The Crocodile', KO means 'Child'. A Water type Pokemon which looks like a crocodile. This is one of the Pokemon that the hero gets to select first. "NUOH"
A Water type Pokemon which looks like a YADON. They are very rare.

"ODOSHISHI"
This Pokemon looks like a deer. It intimidates by its big horns which resemble huge eyes. "MONSTER BALL"
A new type of Poke Balls made by trainer "GANTETSU". The type of Pokemon that you can catch will depend on the color of the ball.

Japanese Name	Description
Happa	Plant type Pokémon. Probably one of the Pokémon that you can get from Dr.Oak.
Honoguma	Fire type Pokémon. Probably one of the Pokémon that you can get from Dr.Oak.
Kurusu	Water type Pokémon. Probably one of the Pokémon that you can get from Dr.Oak
Mariru (Pikablu)	It has round ball on its tail and looks like it is a mouse Pokémon. It is said to be an ice/electric Pokémon
Rediba	Bug Pokémon. Looks like a lady bug.
Donfan	Elephant-like Pokémon.
Hoho - Houou	Hoho ~ The first form of Houou. He is like an owl. Houou ~ Probably one of the strongest Pokémon in the game. Said to be psychic/flying type of Pokémon.
Denryu	Electric and maybe dragon type Pokémon.
Yadoking	The evolved form of a Slowbro that got smart and killed that parasite thing on its tail!
